Crows Nest

Situated at the junction of five main roads, Crows Nest maintains its suburban charm without sacrificing functionality and accessible transport to the city, north shore and northern beaches. Located 5km north of Sydney’s CBD on the Lower North Shore, is a vibrant commercial hub known for its diverse shops, restaurants, and cafes. Rich in history, it was named after Crows Nest Farm, once owned by Edward Wollstonecraft.

St Thomas Rest Park, a historic landmark in the suburb, was originally Sydney’s first North Shore cemetery. The park features the pyramid-shaped tomb of notable landowner Alexander Berry, and it also houses a museum in the original Sexton’s Cottage. Crows Nest enjoys excellent connectivity with the recently opened Sydney Metro station and is bordered by major roads like the Warringah Freeway and Pacific Highway. Local schools include North Sydney Girls and Boys High Schools, as well as Cammeraygal High School.

While getting away from the suburb is easy, there’s little reason to do so. It plays host to restaurants, shops, cafes, bars and parks on or steps away from the legendary Willoughby Road, making it an ideal spot to call home.
